root@roddy Founded in 2006, Vinyl Hero is not a band that popped up recently in the scene, but it popped up on my screen some weeks ago, when I was sent the promo kit for their newest video release. The 3- member Alternative/Stoner Rock Band impressed me so much that I agreed to write a short review on their new single Vultures.

Vultures has been released on March 27, 2020 on all available download platforms. The Stoner/Hard Rock song starts with a hammering drum n‘ bass riff before guitars join in. An unbreakable stomping rhythm frames the quite political lyrics of the song. Singer Ray Howard claims the negative aspects of the governing political system and the lack of structures in today’s political administration. The songs was written before the pandemic, so it could be considered prophetic, suggesting that national leaders do not know how to cope politically with a serious crisis, which is now visible to everybody.

The Canadian Stoner/Heavy Rock formation shows how to combine good songwriting with a very professional low budget production for a Heavy Rock/Metal video. Well done boys!
